Support Small Businesses Affected by the Wildfires

The Rebuild Southern California Small Business Fund will focus on the following key areas: 

• Loan payment relief Repay principal only loans eliminate interest and significantly lower monthly payments for borrowers. Being able to access a loan that requires repayment of the principal only will help ensure greater financial flexibility, providing our borrowers with the breathing room they need to rebuild and grow. 
  
• New loans In response to the devastating wildfires that ravaged Southern California, Accion Opportunity Fund (AOF) launched the Rebuild Southern California Small Business Relief Fund to provide immediate and long-term financial relief to impacted small businesses. With a commitment to raising $100 million in philanthropy and debt capital, this three-year initiative is not just about recovery—it’s about resilience. By helping small businesses rebuild, we’re working to restore jobs, livelihoods, and the economic heartbeat of the region.
  
• Educational resources and technical assistance including business advising to help small business owners overcome the challenges they face as they navigate the road ahead. Click Here.

AOF is seeding the fund with a minimum of $500,000 in existing philanthropic resources but needs the support of investors and donors to reach its $100 million goal. Every dollar donated will help AOF extend $5 in loan capital to small business owners, providing a significant impact for businesses and the communities they serve.
